I am running because every student deserves an equitable, quality education in a safe environment, supported by a transparent, accountable board.
I am deeply rooted in this community. As an MVUSD alumna, I know what it takes to grow where you are planted — from Moreno and Ridgecrest Elementary, to Landmark Middle, and Valley View High. I continued my education at RCC and CBU, earned a master’s in Education Law, and am now completing my Juris Doctor.
For over sixteen years, I’ve volunteered with MVUSD on PTSAs, boosters, and advisory committees, and was honored to receive the Romelio Ruiz Community Engagement Award. As a mother, partner, and advocate, I am ready to work for you.

My name spells out exactly what I will bring to every vote, every meeting, and every conversation with a family.
Straight answers in plain language — especially when the answer is a hard one.
Decisions grounded in evidence and student outcomes, not politics or personalities.
Families get a real answer, from a real person, and they get it on time.
Budgets and decisions explained openly, in public, in language anyone can follow.
I will own my votes, explain my reasoning, and answer for the results.
The two people closest to every child are their parents and their teachers — yet too often they are the last ones consulted when major decisions are made. I will push for a board that asks before it decides, answers when it is asked, and treats families and staff as true partners rather than an audience. Those who know our children best deserve a real seat at the table.
A student's opportunities should not depend on which campus they happen to be zoned for. Every child deserves quality programs, up-to-date technology, supportive counselors, and experienced teachers — and those resources need to reach every school in our district, not just the campuses with the loudest parent networks. On every budget vote, I will ask which schools this funding actually reaches.
Every student deserves to graduate prepared for college, a career, or whatever path they choose. That starts with measuring honestly where our students are right now, directing funding toward programs that deliver real results, and refusing to accept that some campuses simply perform worse than others year after year. We can do better, and our students cannot wait while we decide to.
Our teachers and classified staff are the backbone of this district, and they deserve a board that stands behind them — with competitive pay, real professional support, and manageable workloads. Too often our educators are treated like line items on a budget instead of the community members they are. I am running to change that, and to treat the people who care for our children as true partners.
Special education, English learner support, counseling, and intervention are services — not separate places. Every student receiving one is a general education student first. Families should not have to find an advocate just to get the support the law already guarantees their children. I know exactly where this system breaks, because I have spent years working inside it.
Students cannot learn if they do not feel safe at school. That means taking bullying and violence seriously, with real action and accountability. It means investing in the mental health support and counselors our kids need. And it means every family knowing exactly how to raise a concern — and actually getting a timely answer when they do.
Families deserve to see exactly how their money is being spent, and why. I will push for budgets explained in plain, everyday language, decisions made openly in public rather than pre-negotiated behind closed doors, and a board that answers questions directly instead of deflecting them. That is the standard I will hold myself to.
